6. Segmentation and suppression rules

The house list is treated as one audience with programmatic suppressions applied per-send. This is deliberately conservative — higher-quality open rates and lower unsubscribe pressure over the 26-day window.

Suppression: unsubscribedAny unsubscribe event everAll 4 emails

8. Post-send analytics — what we look at, when

TimingMetricThreshold / action
Every send + 1hDelivered / bouncedHard-bounce > 2% → investigate list hygiene before next send. Soft-bounce > 5% → ISP throttling; check IP warm-up.
Every send + 24hOpen rateBaseline expectation: 20-30% (this list is small and warm). If < 15%, investigate subject line + preview text. Report to Carla in retro.
Every send + 24hClick rateEmails 2, 3, 4 baseline: 3-6%. Email 1 has no CTA button; measured on any-link click.
Every send + 72hConversion rate (email → donate_success)Email 2 baseline: 1-2% of delivered. Email 3: 0.5-1%. Email 4: 0.5-1.5%. Measured via Sprint 48 server-side attribution.
Every send + 24hUnsubscribe rateAny single send > 0.5% unsubscribe → stop and review before next send. This is the fatigue guard.
Every send + 24hSpam-complaint rateAny single send > 0.1% complaint → stop next send. This is the compliance guard.

What the analytics are not for. The campaign is not primarily an optimisation experiment. The 4-email sequence is fixed. If Email 2 underperforms, we do not add a 5th email in mid-campaign. We publish the numbers honestly, revert to sunset discipline, and improve for Sprint 54 (EOFY 2027).
