Share your experience — on your terms, at your pace.

If you are a beneficiary of LWD, a family member, or an advocate, you can choose to share your experience. Our consent flow is intentionally slow: 7 steps, no pressure, 7-day cooling-off before publication, withdrawal at any time. See the full guardrails at /beneficiary-depiction-guardrails.

The 7-step consent flow

  1. 1
Initial conversation — always beneficiary-led. If you decline, the conversation ends and is not re-opened.
  2. 2
Draft co-written together — you retain editorial control over your own words. We do not rewrite your language into a fundraising register.
  3. 3
You see the final draft before anything is signed. Nothing is submitted until you say so.
  4. 4
7-day cooling-off — after signing, you have 7 days to withdraw. If you withdraw, the draft is destroyed and never used.
  5. 5
Decision-capacity documented — a note confirming you were decision-capable at signing is filed with every consent record.
  6. 6
Family concurrence — a family member you nominate is contacted separately. If they decline, we do not publish in identifiable form.
  7. 7
Withdrawal is always available — you (or, post-death, your nominated family contact) can withdraw at any time with no reason required. Content is removed within 7 days.

Start the consent conversation

This form starts step 1 only. Nothing is published, nothing is committed, and no draft is created until you say so at step 3.

This surface renders the full 7-step-flow UI + records schema; the POST handler wires up in the next sprint alongside the A/B rotator. The button is intentionally disabled until the write path is wired to prevent orphaned rows without an authored delivery path.
